As the Transfer Center is still relatively new on campus, we are working to expand our alumni engagement, if you have additional ideas of how you want to support transfer student success please do not hesitate to reach out to us at transfer@calpoly.edu.
Join the Transfer Connection for Current Students & Alumni group in Cal Poly Career Connections. This is an exclusive online networking and mentoring platform that connects current students to Cal Poly's professional community. Now is the time to make a connection with students and alumni in your field. Mentor a student or make new connections with fellow alumni, all in one free and easy-to-use platform.
Stop by the Transfer Center (Bldg 52 RmE30) next time you are on campus and chat with our Transfer Center student staff and students utilizing the center. Our students love to see alumni engaged in giving back and connecting with students.
Be a featured transfer alumni or panelist. We are always looking to do a story feature on our Instagram or in various Cal Poly news sources on successful transfer alumni. Additionally, we partner with Career Services at least once a year to host a transfer alumni panel. You can donate items for a raffle, donate your time doing event support, or financially sponsor a Transfer Center event. We offer one event per week during the academic year and are always looking for ways to be able to increase our student outreach and meet the needs of our transfers.
